Specialized Programs

Responsibility Increases Student Equity (RISE)

This program offers an accelerated course of study for 5th-grade students who have been retained twice, providing a hands-on, project-based curriculum designed to close the academic achievement gap for over-aged learners. It includes intensive academic and social-emotional support, as well as virtual after-school tutoring to help students succeed.

Interventions Making Positive Adjustment Change (IMPAC)

The Interventions Make Positive Adjustment Change (IMPAC) program serves as an alternative to traditional suspension while addressing the underlying issues contributing to the behavior. These infractions typically involve code-of-conduct violations that disrupt the school environment or pose safety concerns.

Alternative to External Suspension (AES)

The Alternative to External Suspension (AES) program is a districtwide intervention that provides students with a structured opportunity to review and reflect on their behavior. It offers guidance that helps students evaluate their conduct and make more constructive decisions.
